Mónica Ferro has a Master's degree in International Relations and was a lecturer in the same field at ISCSP-ULisboa. She was a member of the Portuguese Parliament and Assistant Secretary of State for National Defence. She was also a commentator for RTP and a researcher at CIEG/ISCSP-ULisboa. She is currently Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) London Office.
